About Team

John Calderon serves as the Director of Construction at Advanced Building and Remodeling. He has experience in various areas of construction management, including residential and commercial building, as well as facilities management, before founding Advanced Building and Remodeling in 2016. With over 24 years of construction experience, John is an expert in delivering quality results while providing exceptional customer service. Rather than being a hands-off director and manager, John is essential to nearly every step of the construction process for each project undertaken by Advanced Building. He is likely to be involved in initial meetings to develop your concept and will be present to see your project through to completion. John also supervises the aftercare and maintenance of homes, drawing on his previous experience as a facilities manager. He holds certifications from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, is a certified remodeler with the National Kitchen & Bath Association, and possesses two prestigious California State Contractors Licenses in both B – General Building and C-10 Electrical. Additionally, he is nationally certified in Safe Lead Practices by the EPA and is a certified remodeler with the National Association of Home Builders. He is also OSHA 30 certified and is dedicated to enhancing his skills. Recently, John earned the prestigious title of Certified Remodeler from NARI, making him one of only five individuals to hold this elite designation in Los Angeles County.

John is a Los Angeles native. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, exercising, and traveling.
